Redwine Productions of Atlanta, Georgia will produce the documentary in association with Borderline Productions of Belfast, Northern Ireland, under the sponsorship of the W.B. Yeats Foundation of Emory University in Atlanta. The Center for Irish Studies at Georgia Southern University will prepare outreach components.  The program will be offered to PBS and public service television in the U.K., Ireland, and Canada.  A companion book, study guides, interactive games and historic tours will complement  it.

Extensive research on the subject matter was made possible through  grants from the Ulster-Scots Agency in Northern Ireland, the Pennsylvania Humanities Council, the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities, the North Carolina Humanities Council, and the South Carolina Humanities Council. Additional sources of underwriting, particularly from organizations within the United States, are presently being sought to augment a script-writing grant from the Northern Ireland Film and Television Commission (NIFTC) and to move the project forward into the production stage.
